Steel Optical (Costco Burnsville)

I have had the WOST experience with lenses from Costco. And it’s only Costco lenses. They cannot stand up to Minnesota winters, and crack. They cannot stand up to normal wear, to cleaning with the solutions they recommend. I have had two pairs of lenses that have failed. Become cracked and blurry. I’ve worn glasses for over 20 years and these are by far the worst lenses you can get. Don’t be fooled by the low price. You will pay for it in the end. And the customer service is also poor. Would never recommend to anyone I know.

I went in person to the optical department to make an appointment and have them check the insurance for my son. They took all the information and scheduled me, but on the day of the appointment, I called to confirm and they told me they didn’t have any appointment scheduled. They only made me waste my time and work hours

The optician I saw was very personable and informative. After the exam I purchased a new pair of glasses. The staff is very knowledgeable and very ready to serve the customer.

Dr William Miyoshi was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about what I need to know about my exam . Everyone were very friendly from the beginning and to the end . I am so happy to find him he is so friendly and he listen and spend time with you . I am so recommending him to anybody that needs an eyes Dr .

Don’t expect a fancy office, But do appreciate the detailed information that Wil provides about your eyes’ health, by explaining to you with both words and visuals the precise condition of your eyes. He takes the mystery out of your eye exam by educating you regarding the results of that exam.
