We are so thankful to have found Staunton Post Acute to care for our mother who has a rapidly progressing dementia. The facility was recommended to us and from the very first phone call with Abigail Sibold we knew we were in good hands. Abigail was so helpful and made the admission process so easy. We are so thankful for the focus care staff and all their care for our mom. We are so grateful to have Jennifer and Fonda always ready to update us when we can't make it and along with their staff they always go above and beyond. We are so thankful for all the care our mom receives and so blessed to have Makayla Phillips and her team from hospice to help care for our mom as a resident. Been contemplating whether to leave a review or not i came in to visit a family friend and was completely and utterly shocked by a couple of the managers I asked another staff member who they were they were the 2 kitchen managers they are absolutely horrible I over heard them talking to another staff member about their crew and the things that came out of their mouths were absolutely horrible the sad part is they saw me standing there and didn't try to hide it or cover it up and the language they use i only hope no other family member heard them I've been in customer service all my life and if any of my management team spoke about my crew or other staff members the way these 2 ladies(and i use that term loosely)did they would have been escorted to the door SHAME ON BOTH OF YOU i hope you t

The staff is truly wonderful—friendly, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of every resident. It's clear they go above and beyond to create a warm, supportive environment. The level of care provided is exceptional. From medical attention to daily support, everything is handled with professionalism and kindness. Communication with families is also great—we always feel informed and involved. The facility is currently undergoing renovations, and it’s exciting to see the improvements being made. It’s already a great place, and the upgrades show their commitment to creating an even more comfortable and modern environment for residents. We’ve had a great experience with this skilled nursing and rehab center! Renovations are currently in progress, and it’s exciting to see how they’re improving and modernizing the facility for residents and families. The care here has been wonderful. The nursing staff are compassionate and attentive, and the therapy team is excellent — they’ve helped my loved one make amazing progress in rehab. There’s also a great variety of activities to keep residents active and engaged, which makes a big difference in their quality of life. Overall, we’re very happy and would definitely recommend this facility for anyone needing rehab or long-term care!
