Stanford surgery

I want to thank the staff and especially cardiac surgery and ICU teams who worked on my father post heart attack. This is the best hospital I've been to and I've been to a lot of them. They diagnosed things surrounding the heart attack such as extensive scarring and post surgery complications. The entire staff is brilliantly smart and helpful. Dr Boyd was the primary surgeon and he was very honest and courageous to take on a surgery that could not have been performed in Reno. Looking back now its nothing short of a miracle. Thank you for your excellence.

This organization doesn't give a lick about patients as all they care about is their administrative processes. We have been trying for 3 weeks to get a referral into them and they keep telling us that they haven't received it. Additionally, they tell us that even once they receive it there's no way to expedite it even though it is likely that there has been an error on their side. My daughter is an excruciating pain with a rib resting on a nerve every hour of the day and all they care about are their administrative processes, not their patients!

Daughter had her 1st & 2nd heart surgery at Stanford Cardiology Surgical Center by Dr. Mohan Viswanathan, all doctors, PAs, RNs, etc staff were EXCELLENT. All very courteous, well mannered, excellent bedside manners, caring, just wonderful. If you're having heart surgery Stanford Cardiology is to be trusted without reserve. Although they moved the Surgery Center from 500 Pasteur to 300 Pasteur the bldg are still all super clean, well lit, well secured and welcoming. Parking per day rate is $18. Take ticket with you as you must pay at the center kiosks on each level of the garage by the stairs/elevators before you leave.
