I had a great delivery last week, and just wanted to share how great of an experience I had. I used Stamford health throughout my whole pregnancy and had a positive experience. The actual delivery and stay was special because I genuinely felt cared for and listened to. The room service and food was also excellent and nutritiously thought out. The hospital is modern and up to date. Thank you again to the whole women’s specialty center.

My recent stay at Stamford Hospital was one of the worst healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. I was admitted with rhabdomyolysis, already in significant pain, and the care I received made an already difficult situation even harder. I was given a PureWick device that was not properly maintained. It was never changed, and the bed became soiled. The pad underneath me was only changed once a day, which led to my skin beginning to break down. By the second day, after I was finally able to shower, I refused to use it again. Instead, I endured the pain of walking back and forth to the bathroom, even though I knew it could potentially slow down my recovery. I rarely saw the nurses. They would come in to introduce themselves and then disappear. I often had to repeatedly press the call bell just to

I had the pleasure of delivering both of my babies at Stamford Hospital, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. The nursing staff was incredibly caring and attentive. During my second delivery, things progressed so quickly that I gave birth just 30 minutes after arriving, which meant I couldn’t receive an epidural. Unfortunately, my husband missed the moment because he was parking the car with our son, but I felt completely supported by the nurses and the on-call doctor. The level of care I received post-delivery was exceptional, from the follow-up by the doctors to the attentive food service and regular vital checks. I truly appreciated how the staff respected my choices, whether it was opting for lower doses of pain relief or choosing to formula feed. My experience with

About a month ago my son was taken to the ER at the Stamford Hospital, he was quickly taken and when I was able to see him he was in a room with a nurse watching him. He was so caring and kind , when I approached the doctor he was very professional and very helpful and knowledgeable, bless your heart. He was taken to the tenth floor and all the staff were very helpful and kind, thank you Gedna, Samantha and all of you for your care. Thank you so much to the wonderful Psychiatric Unit who took an excellent care of my son. He’s back now on the tenth floor to fix his back injury, I’ve confidence that everything is going to work out. Thank you so much Dr. Shutran for your professionalism and care . Thank you Stamford Hospital for taking care of my son. You are all precious to me. Ana Mary

It’s not the first time my husband needs to go to Stamford Hospital and I have some observations to be made: At the ER, you gotta be lucky to be well cared for by good nurses. Some of them are very attentive, others not and sometimes even rude. I need to compliment the ICU team, specially: Allison, Loli and Magda. They were always extremely attentive, careful, and patient. An example of professionalism. In fact, other great ICU nurses cared for my husband in different occasions, but unfortunately, can’t remember their names. There was only one time that a male nurse (not sure about his name) was extremely aggressive , pulling my husband’s leg, risking serious injury. I immediately told him to stop. He should be better prepared to care for patients, especially since everyone in the ICU is m
