St. Peter's OB/GYN - Albany

I followed my doctor here from a much smaller practice where I had an amazing experience. I still love Doctor Lamparello but the practice itself is AWFUL. You can't get anyone on the phone to answer any medical questions you may have or even a receptionist if you need to change an appointment. I received abnormal bloodwork and was automatically referred to a high risk doctor (which I saw on MyChart) - no phone call or message from anyone. After panicking and frantically calling the office and sitting on hold repeatedly for over a day it turns out the lab made an error! I know all practices are getting large and using the portal more than phone which I am okay with, but there needs to be some level of balance until it is a perfect system.

I truly can’t say enough good things about this office. Everyone is incredibly nice and welcoming. The oncall staff after hours has been amazing too. I’m thrilled I found this office.

I have only had great experiences at this practice. The administrative and nursing staff are always warm and helpful in person and when I have had to call. The physicians have been exceptional across the board.

I loved my experience, the staff great customer service everytime I got a scan done during my pregnancy , even motivated me to get my ultrasound tech …i hope I can do my shadowing here for class

I have been calling since Monday 9/1 to schedule an emergency appointment as the hospital wanted me to follow up with my obgyn within 48 hours for a possible miscarriage and high risk pregnancy. I spoke to an on call doctor that said she would have a doctor call me on Tuesday as Monday was a holiday I received no call. I called back and left an urgent message with a nurse no call back . I’ve been calling back since got hung up on without speaking to someone , then waiting again. This is outrageous and I am a new patient being I just moved to the capital district. This is a disgrace and no way to treat a patient who is entrusting you with their personal care and the care of the child they are trying to bring into the world.
