St. Mary's Home

My son resides here and THRIVES. This is not a nursing home. It is a children's home where the staff pays close attention to the whole child and enriches their life! It was a very hard decision to make this move but with my son's severe disabilities and 24/7 need for nursing care, as he got older the care got harder. He gained so much from being able to be a part of St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The picture I have shared with this review is at the annual Spring Fling they have for the kids and invite the families to enjoy the day with their kids! The love from this places oozes out all over the kids. My son is loved and well cared for!

I've seen some amazing things in this place. The residents are so inspiring. I pray this place is covered with the full armor of God, and the full light of heaven continue shining through the residents and staff. In Jesus name. Amen!

I cannot understand the negative reviews! My daughter has been at St. Mary's since she was a month old. She just recently aged out and is now in a group home. My daughter has received excellent care and I have nothing but great things to say about SMHDC. The staff treats the kids as their own and love them all. I was sad that my daughter had to move out.

PLEASE CHECK ON YOUR LOVED ONES. My cousin was physically abused. Her lip is split badly due to lack of fluids. Her bruises was discovered by coincidence. They watch you on your 59 min visit. Probably bc they don't want you to discover marks on their bodies. CHECK YOUR FAMILIES BODY THOROUGHLY. Some of our family members can not speak for themselves, so we have to advocate for them. CHECK ON YOUR FAMILY

Will never put my child back in here. Went to pick her up before a medical procedure. As soon as I got home to get her ready for bed. I found bruises on her body. Which means someone in st Mary home was beating on my Innocent non verbal child. I pulled her out immediately upon discovery.
