St. Mary's Health Center

My husband and I were down here in wpb, to visit family. Unfortunately soon after we arrived in town he had to be admitted into St. Mary’s. All i can say is he was well cared for, from the time we got there until he was discharged 3 days later. A special thank you to his day nurse Shaunna, she was very sweet and made sure we understood his condition and how to move forward from here. Also the dietitian and the diabetic health teacher were exceptional as well. Another special thank you to Jenn and Liz in the icu, everyone on these 2 teams made sure to prioritize my husbands health and make sure we had the most comfortable stay that we could, under these circumstances. We are truly grateful. 💕

I am a current patient here and have been trying to get an appointment for the last 2 months. They are refusing to see me for a follow-up because they are stating that the doctor I was seeing is no longer there. I asked to be placed with another doctor and they said no one is available and it may be months. I don't see how this is possible. I was supposed to have blood work done back in November because I had concerning results 6 months ago and they are refusing to schedule me with anyone for the follow-up. They said my only option is to go to the ER, which is not going to do a blood panel for me. I don't know what is going on at this location, but someone needs to intervene, and I'm not sure who else to contact about it.

Usually I have excellent reviews for this location. But I will say there is a lot of PRIVILEGED thinking. They cancelled my services because a STUDENT nurse thought she was going to LIE on me without me calling her out. She pulled out the PRIVILEGED tears and all of sudden I was wrong although I had been a patient there for nearly 7 years. But maybe a healthy patient isn't their focus anymore ijs..... Community isn't defined as it use to be
