St Mary Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center

I recently had the pleasure (or perhaps the displeasure) of visiting St. Mary Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. It's a place where time stands still, and the average resident's age is roughly the same as the age of the building itself. The decor? A delightful blend of 70s shag carpeting and floral wallpaper that would make your grandmother blush. The communal dining hall? A place where the sound of silverware clinking against plates is only rivaled by the volume of the television tuned to a classic game show. The activities coordinator, a well-meaning soul named Mildred, seemed more enthusiastic about bingo than a teenager at a concert.
