St. Luke's Northern Valley Primary Care - Allentown

Dr. Yext is a wonderful provider. She listens to me and doesn’t brush things off. The staff answering the phones are polite. I was nervous to switch from LVHN to St. Luke’s, but I’ve had a positive experience with this office!

I don’t think I have ever written an online review in my life but this is the worst Doctor’s office I have ever had experience with. Wendy who answers the phone is truly nasty, and has consistently talked over me and is nothing if not perpetually condescending. I am always on hold for 5-10 minutes at least and then get transferred to their messaging system because Wendy “doesn’t handle that”. When I ask clarifying questions of when I can expect to hear back, or when I can expect my prescription to be called in, it’s like I’ve asked her to move mountains and she responds with “when it’s done” or similar non answers to my questions. So far, most of my dealings with this office have left me nothing less than frustrated. For starters, nearly every time I call the administration that answers the phone acts like it is an inconvenience to be on the phone with me. Second, I found out at my last doctor's appoint that a blood test that was taken over a year ago had found something, and no one ever told me. The response I got when I questioned it was, "Oh, well, I guess you should schedule another appointment for a wellness exam. We like you to have them once a year anyway." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Now, to put the icing on the case, the doctor I saw, who actually was good and made me consider staying (Dr. Ohanian), prescribed a med for me that unfortunately was no longer available. I’ve always had great service here. Love Amber Gussoni & her staff. She takes the time and care and listens to my concerns. I’ve had a lot of health issues & she’s always patient and thorough and follows up. Great & friendly front office staff too!

Everyone is super nice and helpful, doc was super cool, got me in and out.
