St. Luke's Hospital

St. Luke's hospital surgery center is # 1. The nurses and staff are friendly and professional. I have been there many times for me and for family members. They do everything they can to make you comfortable. The staff and nurses make you feel like every patient is like family. Could not ask for better care.

I had an emergency gallbladder removal, I had Dr Tommy Xia he was absolutely amazing and so nice. My nurses Holly and Raquel were so amazing too. I can’t remember my CNA’s name but she was also amazing! So happy for the recovery team and all the help they gave to me.

My daughter randomly got covered in hives from head to toe so I took her to St. Luke's hospital. I am impressed with the pediatric Wing. They have a whole separate area in the ER just for kids and they took us right away. Put her in a room in a bed so she could at least be a little comfortable while we waited. The doctor was amazing. The nurses were great. The only thing I would say sucked was the wait was long but they were packed so that's to be expected. All the staff had excellent bedside Manor and made my daughter feel completely comfortable. Hopefully I never have to go back but if I do I would have no problem going here.

The level of complacency and apathy in the ER, by almost everyone I observed or had contact with, was disgusting. 12hrs in the ED without being seen. Receiving Tylenol 6.5hrs after it was requested, after asking 2 nurses on 4 different occasions. They took my $300 co-pay then left me in the waiting room for 12hrs with 9/10 pain. Worst part, is realizing that, after 13hrs waiting, they never had any intention of rooming me or providing care until the faster walk-in urgent care section of the ER was up and running at 7am. They could have been honest with me and allowed me to return in the morning or better yet, given me the option to go elsewhere for my care. I could not give informed consent because I was not informed at all. I dealt with one confrontational, defense employee after a other,

I came into the emergency room with burns on my face, neck, chest, and arms from scalding soup. I was told they would take me as soon as possible. I was then registered into the hospital and paid a $100 copay. After 3 hours of waiting and not being evaluated, I asked if there was anything I should do for my burns while I waited, as the pain was escalating. I understand long wait times in the emergency department so I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help with the pain while I waited. My burns were also beginning to blister. The receptionist went to ask the nurses, and she came back and told me there was nothing I could do while I waited. At that point, I asked if I was just supposed to sit and let the burns blister and scar. She responded “yes.” I waited another 2 hou
