St. Luke's Hospital - Monroe Campus

On March 4, 2026, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the colonoscopy team personnel, all the nurses, especially Nurse Joanne who hugged and encouraged me, the anesthesiologist, and Dr. Robert James Malcolm for their professional efforts throughout my stay in the colonoscopy department. With my deepest love and respect, thank you so much for your hard work. Furthermore, the hospital entrance was spotlessly clean, the colonoscopy department, with its advanced equipment, offered comfort comparable to a hotel, and the staff were very attentive. As Hande, the wife of patient Burak Zorluoglu, I am deeply grateful. Those considering colonoscopy and their families, don't worry, you are in safe hands.

Huge thank you to the amazing and helpful nursing staff on 1/30. The hospital was very efficient and organized and it was helpful to see a status update in the waiting area. The hospital was very clean. When the doctor came back to discuss how the procedure went I was still really out of it from anesthesia though. Luckily my husband was there to fill in the missing pieces. Dr. Tayel was very nice and helped me feel a little better about the procedure. I wished that there were another hook by the sink to hang my IV bag to wash my hands in the bathroom.

In my humble opinion, St Lukes Monroe Campus is one if the best hospitals I've been to. I had a total knee replacement in November 2025. My surgeon was Dr Tenpenny. I have to say he's a wonderful surgeon. From the moment I woke up from the surgery until now (February 2026), I have had no pain in my 'new knee' at all. I was 79 when I had the surgery and scared to death! He listened to all my questions, explained everything in detail and really put me at ease. I highly recommend Dr Tenpenny. And, thanks to all of the hospital staff who took care of me post surgery. They were great! One could tell they loved their jobs!

I first want to thank the icu team for the excellent care my mother received while in icu, nick and I believe the young nursing students name was James were very kind and compassionate with my mother and my sister and I. That's why the 3 stars. My mother is 89 with slight dementia while on the second and third floors she was pretty much ignored the rooms were dirty there was no hot water in either rooms the TV remotes didn't work so she couldn't even hear the TV I asked for it to be fixed and I was told maintenance probably wouldn't fix it. My family counted on st lukes to take good care of our mother my whole family was sick at the same time and were unable to be there all day. We will start with the snotty aids that I encountered, one told me to leave the room while they washed my mother

Horrible first experience going to this hospital! My husband waits weeks for an appointment for MRI they make you pre pay for the procedure or they will charge you the absurd amount they are charging insurance companies. FYI LVHN was cheaper we stupidly kept the appointment because it was 4 days earlier and it’s kinda an emergency. Get there on time 4 am and they say oops sorry our bad we can’t do the tests today. Not the only ones either. Error in scheduling? How so? it was pre paid. So we got up at 3 am delayed work for the day to accommodate this and they are like oh we can’t squeeze you in tomorrow! Tomorrow are you kidding? Oh sure just ya know let me say oh sorry boss I’m late today and I have leave early tomorrow cause people can’t do data entry! They are not buying it. Unacceptable
