St. Luke's Care Now - Belvidere (Walk-in care) and Occupational Medicine

Went here for a workers compensation claim when I had hurt my shoulder. Saw a PA named Lauren who didn’t even examine me and acted skeptical of my symptoms reported. She advised heat and rest. When I went back the next day because it became worse and saw Dr. Emenari I was told the advice was wrong and heat was a possible reason. When I returned for my follow up a week later I saw Lauren again and again she didn’t examine me and was skeptical of my symptoms. She advised to just drive with one arm if driving with the other was painful due to my shoulder. Absolutely awful service and no care or examination. I would advise only seeing Dr. Emenari. I’m extremely upset with the care this PA provides.

Horrible experience. Made an appointment for 9:30am. Got there, checked in, the front desk lady said nothing. 30!!! Minutes later she calls me and says "I need your license" meanwhile had she asked me that from the beginning I would have been done. It has now been 60 minutes and I am still waiting meanwhile there is NO ONE in here and I am scheduled for a simple 2 minute tb test. When I asked her how much longer I got "ma'am this is an urgent care and we only have 2 nurses". Understood, I work in an EMERGENCY ROOM, but it is never okay to have 6 patients who checked in after me go before me, especially because they've been done and gone for about 30 minutes now, while im stuck here. Not only was the front lady rude when i originally adressed it nicely but she messed up and wont even admit

Absolutely horrible. Took my daughter to check for pneumonia. Told doc she has history,didn't offer chest x-ray. Took her to another doctor(not StLukes)gave chest x-ray. She had pneumonia. I will NEVER go there again. Very dismissive of my concerns.

This place was not your average urgent care type of situation. Each of the staff members that I interacted with we’re knowledgeable, Expeditious, helpful and answered allllll of my questions with no pretentious attitude. They we’re simply excellent; it’s now my new go to when in quick need.

We were told that we are 'out of network' but a few months ago at the Hamburg, PA location we were 'in network' and our Medicare and insurance has not changed. We were double billed and had to sit for a long time while the woman at the admission window corrected her mistake. Once we were able to go into the back treatment area, everything went smoothly.
