St. Joseph's/Candler Urgent Care - Rincon

If it’s possible for a trip to urgent care to be wonderful, that’s what I experienced! I had to go due to hurting myself in an incredibly dumb way and yet the entire staff made me feel that rather than be humiliated, I was the most important person in the world while I was there. I wish I had gotten the name of the front desk lady that helped me but unfortunately I didn’t. I had a wound on my foot and she was kind enough to just let me sit down and she carried paperwork and such out to me, then came back and got it. She took the time to see if our insurance provided us a HRA account, which they did and I didn’t even know it, so she printed out all that information for me. I was taken back within just a few mins of finishing my paperwork and upon being taken back I was met with the same kin

Nope , never going to this place again. They don’t know how to treat the patients . You have a problem don’t take it with the people that are coming to get treated. Came in very sick , they swabbed me , 4 min later the Dr walked in “ you have influenza “ no eye contact, no introduction, hand me the paper , med were sent to your pharmacy, walked out . Really?? Was I done ?? Am I good to go ?? . No physical check or protocol followed. Called 6 days later because I was worse. The nurse was very rude only speaking over me when I was trying to explain that the Meds for influenza they gave me did nothing for what I came in for “sharp throat pain “ . End up going to another UC were they said I did not had the flu , only strep . Why they diagnosis me with the flu ?? Quick to take that visit money

Walked in after throwing out my back. Severe pain. From the moment I walked in and registered, met with the Physician and left the facility it was a 10 out of 10 experience. I highly recommend this facility. Update: Paid $200 for my visit. 3 weeks later I receive a bill in the mail for an additional $229. Diagnosis, cortisone shot and meds. Why not be up front about it? Never again!

The front desk receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The check in was easy and quick. I was taken back within minutes. The nurse was was efficient in taking my vitals. The NP was also friendly and efficient. When I was leaving the receptionist was helpful in getting my DOT physical form laminated. I would definitely recommend.

The wait was a little long but they were busy. It probably felt like eternity to me because I just wanted relief. Once I got called back to the exam room, things moved pretty quickly. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate to my needs from the front desk to the nurse and PA. I would recommend them to others in need of medical treatment when you can't get in to see your own physician.
