St. Joseph's/Candler Urgent Care - Hinesville

If I could put no stars and just a review I would. I scheduled an appointment online for Covid symptoms went to the appointment the nurse got all my vitals asked all the questions and the doc/ Nurse practitioner Raegan came in and basically asked the same questions as the nurse. She placed her stethoscope on my back I inhaled/exhaled then she said okay sounds like a sinus infection no type of test no kind of concern and gave me some prescriptions and told me she hope I feel better. I paid $60 for something my child could have done. They are the absolute worst. I left there went somewhere else and come to find out I have the FLU. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I was seen on 12/23. It was easy to book online to reduce my waiting time in the lobby. Misty was my nurse who took detailed notes and helped put me at ease. I don't remember my providers name; however, she discussed my symptoms with me, explained what she found, (she didn't check my nose or throat), and discussed my choices for medication. Both used humor, which was calming. If needed again, I will return and recommend over the ER, when appropriate! The service was excellent.

I was very well received from the front desk to the PA! I was listened to, and asked questions to make sure I was understood. The service I received would make it easy for me to return if needed!!! Most sincerely, Rebecca McMillian

New to the area and as a new patient, many facilities were months out. Was fortunate enough to have a cancellation and become a patient of Dr. Carney. Dr. Carney's staff was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I showed up about 15min early for my appointment and was taken back on time! I wish I could remember the staff names but the check-in staff, and the screening staff who took my vitals were incredible! They acted with speed, yet never did I feel rushed. I was taken into the patient room and Dr. Carney came in very shortly after! I have seen multiple primary care physicians, but Dr. Carney tops the list. His demeanor, passion, and knowledge helped me relax as he was providing my care. I immediately knew I was talking to an expert. I will continue to be a patient of Dr. Carney and his

Took my son there on Jan 30th, he expressed his concerns of what was wrong and how he has had these symptoms before and last time it was Bronchitis. They said, you have the viral infection going around and all they did was prescribe him an antihistamine. I went myself Feb 4th because I started feeling bad. Was told I probably have the same thing he has and they prescribed me cough medicine for the congestion. We ended up going to a different urgent care 06 Feb and turns out we both have bronchitis! St. Joseph's has to be the worst urgent care we have ever been too. They were more focused on getting you in and out without really wanting to listen to you. They didn't come across like they cared. They were very impersonal. I had high hopes seeing the reviews for this place, but was let down
