St. Joseph's/Candler Physician Network - Endocrinology

This was my first time at this office. As I was not familiar with the area, I had a difficult time finding the location. I called multiple times and got the answering machine. When I finally found the place. I explained to the older black lady that I didn’t realize that the office was located in The Medical Arts Building. She retorted , “We’re not part of that and we have a big sign.” I felt offended and told her to give me back my paper work. Another lady appeared and inquired as to what was the problem. She said something to the effect that I was refusing their services and she just needed to let me go. At my doctor’s office Saint Joseph’s reported to her that they would not be accepting me as a patient because I was hostile. As evidenced in reviews by others on this web site, my experie

If I could give ZERO stars I would! I drove 2 hours to get there and I got stuck in traffic due to an accident I called to let them know and she said I had 15 mins to get there after my appt time. I understand they have a time limit after appt times but I ended up getting there 2 MINUTES past the window and they said I needed to be rescheduled for 2 minutes. That honestly blew my mind! So, I drove 2 hours to get turned away for 2 minutes when I waited 6 months and they couldn’t even see me because I got there 2 mins after the allotted time. I’ll be finding another dr because they clearly don’t care!

Words cannot describe how much I *LOVE* this office, Dr. Nelson, and her amazing staff. This is, BY FAR, THE nicest group of medical professionals I have ever encountered, and I see A LOT of doctors. The office itself is clean and bright. The receptionist is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Dr. Nelson and her med staff are all very friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and attentive while still maintaining a professional attitude. They went above and beyond to ensure I understood everything, and they listened and responded to my questions and concerns. I was so nervous going to a new (to me) doctor and office, I’ve had so many negative experiences in the past with poorly trained, cold, rude office staff, doctors who don’t listen to me and treat their patients as “just a number.” Not so here

Good appointment. Hopefully this will be just one more appointment and I will be free!! 😄

WOW, love the atmosphere and energy in this office. From walking in the door the reception is calming and welcoming. The nurse was so friendly and Dr. Nelson was so informed and you can tell this is way more than a job for her. She makes you feel so comfortable. I am truly happy my PCP referred me here!!
