Fantastic experience delivering at St. John’s Hospital! The valets were super helpful! All Labor and Delivery and Postpartum staff were great; my nurses, the baby’s nurses, the lactation consultant all were fantastic! They were knowledgeable, attentive, caring, and patient. Thank you to Marci, Alison, Lori, Karen, Myra and anyone else I missed. All of my questions and concerns were answered, and I never felt rushed or like an inconvenience for asking. I was checked on very regularly and was offered and provided everything I could possibly need to make my stay comfortable! I would not have chosen a different hospital for any reason! Special shout out to my OBGYN Dr. Alvarado for being super encouraging and caring during labor and to my anesthesiologist Dr. Landa. Without their skill and ex

Don’t listen to the negative reviews— First time mommy, and I was definitely nervous about going into labor. I went in Sunday night and left Thursday morning, and I can say it was the best experience I’ve had. Dr.Sophia Lubin was phenomenal. She walked me through the whole process and was there every step of the way. Both nurses Jenny and Nana were another part of my amazing experience, I do not think I could’ve made it without them. The pediatric nurses were also very attentive and informative. Helped my husband and I learn how to swaddle and take extra care of our baby. Our room was nice and clean, had a single with a nice view. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served is served. On your last night there, they do have a special dinner for you and your partner, which is very considerate of the

DO NOT come here if you want a happy, memorable experience. This hospital still gives me nightmares! I gave birth here last month, and the night shift staff were incredibly rude and lacked compassion. For the majority of my stay, I was yelled at and glared at by the nurses. I am Hispanic and my husband is Black, and we were both shocked by the judgmental looks we received from the staff. It was clear that the White patients were treated with much more respect and care than we were. This was my first birth, and it was the worst experience imaginable. It was supposed to be a joyful milestone, but it wasn't. I ended up having a C-section because they claimed I wasn't dilating enough, but ladies, don't fall for that! They are compensated more for C-sections, and this hospital has a very high C

I would give zero stars. The 7th floor is the worst. They leave you alone for hours. If you ask for help they dont respond. They take hours to get you anything. Want a soda wait 7 hrs. They dismiss your health concerns. They act as if they dont want to help you and your a burden. They dont have basic supplies. Comb, warm blankets. The food absolutely sucks. The worst i have ever had. Very bland and disgusting. The beds are old the tv are old. They leave chart and papers with patient information out in tbe open. They are condenscending and rude. They dont inform patient what is happening to their health. The towels sheets pillowcases blankets are rough to the touch. Not a good experience. Still waiting on that soda.

I was discharged from St. John's Riverside hospital 1/20/26. I experienced a short stay on 724 B. All the Nursing staff were great on each shift. Special shout out to Dr. Ashley Sayegh FNP we had a great conversation. Things to consider are the loud carts used when taking vitals especially at night. The lack of privacy in a two patient room. I didn't need to hear my roommate's personal business and having to be awaken by the bright light when my roommate was being serviced. Overall great treatment. Thank you 724 West the Best🫶🏾
