St. John's Health Urgent Care

2 years ago I took a fall and new I had messed by shoulder up as soon as I got up. I skied down to the base to St John's Health Urgent Care, and was seen by staff within 10 minutes of getting there. They carefully removed my jacket, took an x-ray, and let me know that I had a Grade 3 AC joint separation within another 10 minutes. The total bill after insurance came out to like $11. This place is a godsend for on mountain injuries.

I am writing this review at the encouragement of my orthopedic doctor. First have to say I received fantastic care! Came in on July 4th with an ankle injury. Everyone was so great and attentive. Had the best experience considering the circumstances. Ankle injury turned out to be a complete talar dome fracture that didn’t get discovered until an mri (4 weeks later) but my Ortho felt the care I received really prevented a more serious outcome. He actually told me I needed to thank the provider at this urgent care for putting my “sprain” in a boot. Took 3 X-rays and an mri to discover the break and had I not been in a boot I could very well be on my way to surgery. I had no displacement!!! So thank you. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

I was very impressed with the quick care I received today at the clinic. I took a bad fall on my face and reopened part of a recent scar on my face. The doctor quickly determined that I would not need more stitches and placed a steri strip on my wound. The whole visit took less than 10 minutes, and I was back on the slopes.

The clinic at Teton Village has the best care I have ever experienced! I have been here many times for sport specific/ski injuries and not only were the staff very friendly and knowledgeable, the wait time for a drop in visit very quick, and they quickly diagnosed & fixed my issues. Thanks for getting me back on my skis!

Although the care I received was good, I would not have utilized their care if I would have known that a "Physician Office Visit" would leave me with an $800 out of pocket bill. You will be charged by a "Specialty" provider although it is a PA providing basic primary-level care. I highly recommend going to an urgent care or elsewhere to avoid being way over charged to basic services.
