St. John's Health Urgent Care

I’ve been to this urgent care several times before and never had an experience like this. Although I was seen within about five minutes and the clinic was not busy, the appointment felt extremely rushed. The provider, Kelly, spent only a few minutes with me, and I barely had time to explain my symptoms. I had medical concerns I needed to address, but before I could finish speaking or ask my remaining questions, she opened the door and ended the visit. I just want a doctor who cares…. I’m worried about my own health. Being cut off mid-conversation and rushed out made me feel completely unheard and dismissed. Made a stop here while on vacation. The staff was accommodating and even gave my 3 year old son a stuffed moose. Clean building in a nice town. If you’re in Jackson and need an urgent care, I highly recommend St. John’s!

The service here is quick, and the personnel is very nice and friendly. The welcoming employees, the nurses, and the doctor were very nice. The out-of-pocket price is also manageable.

Best urgent care I’ve ever visited! On a trip 2,000 miles away from home with a sickness that had been going on for about 6 days. Check in was simple, brought back almost immediately, and the nurse & PA who treated me were SO kind and compassionate. They both completed very thorough exams, and it was obvious they excel in their profession. One of the first times I’ve ever been seen by medical providers who truly listened to me and recognized I had an issue. The kindness and care received was superb, even though they were very close to closing for the day. Labs were done and I had been called back within 30 minutes of the office opening the next day. 10/10 would recommend.

A poor choice in a town with already limited options. The reception staff all seem to compete in providing terrible service. They won’t confirm whether your insurance will cover any costs, and the minimum out-of-pocket expense is about $260. It’s a roll of the dice whether the service will be decent. I strongly recommend calling your insurance company first.
