St Clare Living Community of Mora

I spent 3 weeks there recently. I have mixed reviews. Food was not very good but there were usually 2 options. Food lacked taste other than salt. CNA care was 50/50. Several were very good while others seemed to lack experience. As a whole the nurses were good. Had one very bad experience but was told that she was no longer employed at facility. Jess stood out in the mix. She was always very attentive and truly seemed concerned about her patients care and comfort. Always communicating clearly what the plan was for her shift. Always explained my medication including dosage information. Another stand out was my occupational therapist Dar. She went above and beyond every interaction. My mom recently spent 13 days here for rehab, it was a great place, therapy was good, they feed them well, all of the staff were amazing, they all were very friendly and made you feel welcomed and I’m glad this place requires a CNA or higher to work here because a lot of other facilities don’t and you sure can tell the difference and then you don't end up with some yahoo off the street, you get people that like there job and love doing what there doing. We have been in about a handful of TCU/Rehab facilities over the years with different family members most of them been in Saint Paul where we came from and we have been in a few not so nice ones so it was relieving to find this facility in this part of the country! I am thankful for each and every employee at StClares. They go out of their way to see that grandpa has the foods he likes best and gets to to play his favorite bingo games! He loves therapy, wellness and the nustep. He loves joking around with the staff. It makes his day. They treat him like family! Tomorrow i wish I was having family dinner with him but thanks to the wellness staff he will be at dinner virtually. Grandpa said virtual is okay this year because he plans to live to 224! 😁 Big picture that makes him a spring chicken at 97.

Some of the most caring, compassionate people work at St. Clare. Residents become family to each and every one of the staff. The care is exceptional!
