St. Camillus

My father spent his last 7 months at St. Camillus. He was very happy there. He actually improved a bit there after being bedridden in our home for 5 months. They were able to get him up into a wheel chair where he could go to weekly bingo games, (he always called to let me know how many times he had won and saved his winning coupons to use at the gift shop.) He went to church services there every Thursday. Every Friday afternoon he went to the musical program. There were often games and music right in his unit's lounge area. He, like many seniors, complained sometimes. With staffing shortages everywhere, sometimes things took a little longer. Sometimes the food wasn't hot. Some times he didn't like what he got, but when he let the staff know, they would go get him something else. W

I feel compelled to share my experience at this nursing home, as it has been one of the most disappointing and distressing environments I've ever encountered, both as a professional and as a visitor. From the moment I stepped inside, it became painfully clear that this facility does not meet even the most basic standards of care and support for its residents. Firstly, I noticed a troubling lack of initiative among the staff. Many seemed disengaged and indifferent to the needs of the residents, which is incredibly concerning in a setting that is supposed to prioritize their well-being. On multiple occasions, I witnessed staff members neglecting their responsibilities, leaving residents without the assistance they require. This kind of apathy is simply unacceptable in a nursing home, where

The care was poor. The nurse was mean to my mom and our family. All the nurse has time for is pushing the med cart around. She did not give any kind of care to my mom. My mom fell out of bed 2x while there even though we requested Bed Rails for her. Most of the staff is clueless or just doesn't care and that includes the doctors who do not stick around too long.. Don't go there .

My father is a resident at st camilus. As far as the staff i would say they treat the residents with dignity and are reasonably helpful. But the food service is terrible always cold never what was asked for it seems like the kitchen staff just puts whatever they feel like on the tray. Jails serve better food. And for close to 17 thousand dollars a month it should be way better. Also they lost all my dad's clothes in the laundry. No explanation just gone. I would not and do not recommend this place.

When my father, Rick entered hospice care at St. Camillus, I wasn’t sure what to expect but from the very first call, I was met with compassion and clarity. Lee in admissions was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail and gave me a tour of the facility. Everything was clean, well-organized, and welcoming, which immediately helped put my mind at ease. The rooms reminded me of college dorms but we were able to spruce up to make feel like home. My dad was placed in Unit B, where Kelly and her team took exceptional care of him. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and respectful. My father especially raved about Omar, one of the aides, whose warmth and kindness made a real difference in his final days. Dr. Patel and Donna, the nurse practitioner, were
