St. Augustine Center For Dental Excellence

The newly opened location at Blanding Blvd in Orange Park contains most of the staff that relocated from Fleming Island. That's the good news. The better news is the amazing improvements and additions. Dr Strout has assembled a team of solid professionals, and I consider myself fortunate to be one of their dental patients (and not one of their mental patients (smile)).

The last cleaning I had was six months ago and was scheduled for another cleaning 6 months later. They did not advise me that my insurance would not cover it. At my last cleaning I had an exam. They did not advise me that I was only eligible for one exam per year so, when I requested that the dentist look into a tooth that was rough I was charged $100 for less than 2 minutes of a look see. The dentist looked and saw and said there was nothing really to be done and I was charged an additional $100. I will not go back to them and I advise anyone else to find another dentist before investing time and money money in the center for dental excellence. I have also been told by two of my neighbors that they had very bad experiences there with them being just out for the money and not really trying

My experience was phenomenal!!!!. I’ve been avoiding getting my teeth cleaned bc of how much it normally hurts. My gums always bleed & it’s just a god awful time well NOT TODAY ! I did not feel pain not one time. I wish I had visited this office before. Miss Erica was so great. It was so great. I could feel the grime coming off my teeth & loved it. 10/10 stars I do recommend.

Excellent,Professional,very helpful and friendly staff, very very clean office ,I like the honesty of the Dr on her diagnosis,and no waiting time to be see.. Melissa does such an awesome job! Kind, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I brought in an immature patient and she handled him with grace and understanding. Oh wait, that immature patient was me! Seriously though, the treatment plan, front and back of the house staff, and location are all top notch. Thanks for the great care!
