Spragg Veterinary Clinic

This vet could not help our dog or detect our dog had a fatal illness. We are so disappointed and frustrated with this clinic. My five year old daughter's first puppy, that just turned one, died after two visits to this vet. Winnie seemed sick on Saturday. By Tuesday after phone calls we brought her in to get seen. They said not to worry and come back if shes not better. We brought her back again on Thursday. They did an x-ray and still said nothing to worry about. They gave our dog two shots at that visit. Never did blood work. The vet said if we brought her back a third time, we would do bloodwork. Well, this one year old puppy died after receiving those two shots. I've used them for all types of animals, including livestock and they never disappoint. Happy to use them. Knowledgeable, thoughtful and to the point. My most recent visit was for a calf with sepsis. He was knocking on heavens door. He couldn't lift his head, couldn't suckle and was recovering from hypothermia. Alec did everything he could to give him a fighting chance although the odds weren't great. Because of Spragg, he has pulled through. I am forever grateful and will continue using them for my pet and livestock needs.

This is what Veterinary care should look like. All the folks at Spragg have always gotten us right in and taken exceptional care of our dogs. I fully trust their judgment and you won't find better prices in the Ozarks. Love this place

Absolutely fabulous veterinarian! One of the best I've ever been to. Old school vibes. They give you straightforward advice and aren't there to try to sell you expensive food that they have sitting all over the place. I love them and will continue going there. Three of my four cats have been to the Spragg Veterinary Clinic and they all had excellent care.

We had the MOST AMAZING experience with Dr. Spragg. We took my 11 year old dog to the emergency vet last night because she was throwing up, lethargic, and leaking yellow fluid from her back end. The emergency vet told us she had pyometra, and they quoted us $2300 for emergency surgery. We are both students with not a lot of money and we couldn’t afford that. To make matters worse, this all happened late Friday night. We called Spragg as soon as they opened Saturday morning and he told us we could come by and get her taken care of. Not only was he very prompt, he took exceptional care of our dog. On top of that, it was a fraction of the price. I will never be able to put the thanks I have for Dr. Spragg into words. I recommend this place 1000/10.
