Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center

My dad’s stay at the hospital was super challenging. But this hospital is wonderful with its clean building with a refreshing atmosphere and its amazing nurses, welcoming staff and doctors. With that being said, I wanted to recognize an associate that made my dad’s experience a little better with food. His name is Josh with Food Services. His bright smile and patient demeanor made him one to remember. The food was excellent throughout the day and I enjoyed the nice & friendly staff at this hospital! Thank you SRMC :).

I feel bad because there are a lot of nurses and a few doctors at this facility that don't deserve this review. But I am absolutely shocked at the behavior and lack of manners Dr. John Freese display Everytime I have the misfortune of meeting him. He ask no questions, conducted no exam despite me having a surgery scar that was actively bleeding. He ran in the room talked at me for three minutes called my sickle cell pain ridiculous and then stormed out. I wish I could say this was just a one off but I've met him once before in which I was told by him that I was drug seeking as I was actively crying from pain. I left today still not knowing why I'm bleeding, not knowing if my hemoglobin has gone up or down as it was previously a 6.7 and the doctor is also fully unaware because he did no tes

I had a pacemaker put in on January 20. It was a very smooth process. All of the people involved were very professional and friendly. The pre op procedure was very smooth. When I got into post op the nurses there were extremely helpful. I never felt left out of the equation. The entire procedure took from arriving to leaving only took five hours. I highly recommend this hospital.

I wanted to take a quick moment to let you all know about my recent stay. I had recently had very poor health and I do not have much family. I was there for over a week and it was taking quite a toll on me mentally being there and feeling alone. A few days in I had moved floors and received a new care team. Between Nature and Kay my stay at the spotsylvania regional hospital completely turned around. Those girls were very kind and helpful. Nature truly made me feel heard, I know that these girls are very busy but she took that extra minute or two for me to talk to her and it really seemed like she listened. Kay always came in with a positive energy and seemed like she was really happy to help. Those girls made a huge difference in my recovery. Wonderful job ladies.

This hospital is disgusting! Floors have body fluids on floor. It looks like no one has moped the floor in a month at least but the nurse said the room was cleaned...hahaha! Right! Do better Spotsylvania hospital!
