I started going to Mike after tearing my Achilles heel. He worked with me through the long recovery. Now he is helping me to change long-ingrained, instinctive compensation patterns for a back hip knee problem that I wish he had treated before it became chronic. I know that many of his patients, including me, look to him as a special talent. In fact, I was limping recently after an unexpectedly arduous trip overseas and Mike had me walking almost normally the next day. He’s the best. There’s no reason to even think about seeing anyone else.

I rehabbed my ACL with Mike with the goal of getting as strong as possible in order to play competitive college soccer. He was super knowledgeable, helpful and kind for the full 9 months I worked with him. All the sessions consisted of different exercises that strengthened all parts of the body not just the knee and got me fully ready for competitive play. The gym also has a big turf space unlike many pt places which is super helpful when trying to return to sports. Overall a great experience and I fully recommend working with him!

I’ve worked with many physical therapists over the years, but absolutely none compare to Mike! His knowledge is exceptional, exceeding orthopedists I’ve seen. As a former runner with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia, I have a lot of inflammation and sensitivity. I’m in my late 30s and decided to train for a Spartan race. A week into training my knee became extremely inflamed and painful. Dr. Pomykala was able to quickly diagnose the issue and give me a game plan for recovery AND training. He was confident in his approach which made me comfortable along my journey. I completed the Spartan race and feel pain free. I’m extremely very thankful for the time, attention, and expertise.

Dr. Pomykala is one of the most knowledgeable PT's I've had the pleasure of working with. Following the Police Unity Tour, a four day 300 mile bike ride from Northern NJ to Washington DC, I developed swelling and pain in my right knee, unable to bend or put moderate weight on it. Dr. Pomykala conducted a thorough assessment and provided me with proper treatment, improving my flexibility, as well as providing me with new stretches and exercises to prevent the same type of injury in the future. He continues to treat me and I've seen a vast improvement in my flexibility!
