Your instrumental role in facilitating our Dear Father's Shlit'a acceptance to Specialty Hospital has been invaluable. Do not send your loved one to this place. Social workers are a joke! My father was there for vent care. We had to file our own appeals they did not tell us when my Dad was discharged to another facility. Nursing is horrible. Good luck finding on when you need one. We have gone 6 hours some days without seeing a nurse. The only good part of this facility is 2 of the respiratory techs are great. I have so much more I would like to post but I’m so upset at this time I can’t even type the words. I will be filling complaints with the state tomorrow morning. Update::::: We got my Dad out of this awful place and brought him to a vent care rehab. His first day at the new facility he started showing HUGE improvements! Not sure what the difference in treatment is but obviously this hell hole was no

I would highly recommend this hospital and Dr. Santiago. My husband has been in the hospitals ( several different hospitals) in the last almost two years. He had two stays at this hospital and DR. Santiago brought him back to life twice. This year Jersey Shore hospital wanted me to think about turning ventilator off and letting my husband die but instead he got transferred to this LTAC and Dr. Santiago got him off the ventilator and on trache collar wit minimum oxygen requirements. Communication between family members and doctors, nurses and other staff was amazing. I was able to call at any time ( not like this place he is now, one call per day and if you are lucky someone will pick up the phone) . My husbands room was always clean and what’s more important he was clean every time I came

DONT SEND SOMEONE YOU CARE ABOUT HERE!!!!! They tell you everything you want to hear but nothing actually gets done! The nursing staff and respiratory staff is terrible with the exception of a handful of individuals . I’ve gone hours without seeing anyone. The communication is abysmal. They discharged my father and never contacted anyone!!!. My father did not get the care he needed or that the doctors here said he was going to get. The staff should be ashamed of themselves

The hardest thing I ever had to do was endure my wife sickness which sent her into a coma for almost two months. During that time she was admitted into Special Hospital of Central NJ and received the best Care by highly trained personnel who nursed her back to health and prepared her for outpatient therapy. They treated her and I with respect and helped me feel at ease and confident that everything would be alright. Today a year later Virginia Becks-Johnson is fully recovered living a normal life in central Florida thanks to the wonderful staff of this remarkable hospital. Thank you all, I will never forget you.
