I debated whether to submit a review, but ultimately decided to do so because the way my child was treated was unacceptable and dismissive. If your child has behavioral challenges, I would strongly suggest considering other providers. When this company first began working with my daughter, she was still receiving ABA therapy. During that time, I received very little feedback regarding her speech sessions unless I specifically requested it. Things seemed manageable until my daughter transitioned out of ABA therapy and began attending sessions at the center. At times, she would become overstimulated, cry, scream, or attempt to elope. From the very beginning, I never received the results of my daughter’s assessment or a clear list of her therapy goals. While the first month showed noticeable progress, things quickly became stagnant. Instead of building on her growth, she was kept working on the same basic words (“I want,” “help,” “more”). When I asked for more challenging goals, the solution provided was an AAC device. When I expressed concern about using the device, her therapist Caitlin became passive-aggressive toward my child — which was completely unprofessional. The owner Rachelle also promised monthly meetings to review progress, but she consistently failed to show up, never apologized, and avoided accountability. Speak Speech Therapy provides a supportive and professional environment for speech services. The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their clients’ progress. Sessions are well-organized, encouraging, and tailored to individual needs. Overall, it’s a positive experience, and I would recommend their services to anyone looking for speech therapy support.

I’m going to preface this review with the context that I’m still an active patient here, and my review will be updated once I’m completed with their services. I am also an adult patient, which means I’ve had first hand experience dealing with the entire process, except for discharge. To provide a bit of context, I grew up in the Boston area for around 15 years before moving to Texas in 2019. I have struggled with the /r/ sound for my entire life (e.g., “ring” would sound like “wing”, and “car” would sound like “cah”). This place came highly recommended to someone I know, and since getting to know the owner, operations team and therapists, I highly recommend everyone as well. Everyone has been extremely helpful with every question presented, shown detailed knowledge in their field, they listen to concerns given and collaborate to reach goals in a logical and realistic manner, and honestly are very polite and straightforward.
