HORRIBLE SINCE OPTUM TOOK OVER! Do not waste your time. I've been trying to get a referral to a gastro and they can't seem to do it, its been 2 years now and still no referral. They keep putting referrals to the wrong type of doctor or to places that are no longer in business or dont answer the phone or all back. I even gave them the name of a gastro that takes my insurance and nothing its been iver a year since i gave them the name of a doctor. Prescriptions dont get filled ontime or correctly. Do NOT waste your time here. There are better doctors in the area. These Drs are the bottom of the barrel.
We checked in and the second we sat down we were called in to see the doctor, no waiting! We were cared for, treated and we were explained everything that would be done. I actually had a small surgical procedure recommended so I said I would do it. I’m glad it’s all done and the doctor and nurse were so nice and explained every step to me. I’m so happy it’s done and we were finished and headed home all in one hour!!! Great job!
I've been to this Southwest Medical many times (altho this was the first time using Urgent Care) and they always impress. This time, from when I walked in with my injured hand to the time I left, I couldn't have been happier. Everyone from the kind woman at the front desk (Hilde) to the PA who looked at my x-ray and diagnosed my injury (Neil [sp?]) were kind and understanding. I have always been happy with the services at this facility. Keep up the good work!
I had a sinus infection and was seen at the Grand Montecito Southwest Medical Urgent care. The registration was quick and easy and I seem to be the only one in the waiting room but it still took 15 or 20 minutes to be called back. It ends up I heard a gentleman asking the registration lady about me and she said oh it must be a computer issue and what she did something then I was called back. The intake gentleman who does your vitals was great. The doctor however told me no when he asked what I was there for and I said a sinus infection. I guess since I'm not a doctor I'm not allowed to say that I have a sinus infection that he has to decide that. Then when he listened to my chest and lungs he said my lungs sounded a little crappy. He didn't explain what that meant, I kind of wondered at th
This location sucks. The quickcare MD told me not to take Tylenol bc I have liver disease and that he would give me a list of OTC meds safe to take instead. Did they give that to me? NO. I get discharge paperwork that says to take Tylenol. These people are so freaking unhelpful.
