I had such a great experience here from the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. The doctors have amazing bedside manner and truly take their time with you. Dr. Aguirre is wonderful she speaks Spanish, which made communication so much easier for my family. She is very thorough with her exams and takes the time to explain everything clearly without rushing. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. Dr. Vance is also amazing. She is professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. She was also very patient and thorough with my wife’s exam.

Southwest Eye Care has excellent doctors — they are knowledgeable, kind, and provide great eye exams. Unfortunately, my experience with the lens/optical department has been the complete opposite. The optical department’s customer service and communication are extremely poor. Information given at the time of ordering glasses often changes later, and I’ve been told one thing in person only to be told something completely different afterward. It feels very disorganized, and there seems to be little to no communication between the optical staff, reception, and doctors. As a patient, that makes the process frustrating and confusing. The wife and I had appointments yesterday. Absolutely fantastic staff very professional but friendly. They have the best office manger in the world and the whole staff treat each other like family.

I brought my 7 year old son who is autistic and nonverbal in for an eye exam. I was nervous but heard good things about this place from an autism group on Facebook. Everyone from the front desk to the doctor were very respectful and considerate. We didn’t feel like a bother or rushed. I know my son felt comfortable because he wasn’t overwhelmed easily like he normally is. They had a treasure box for him to pick a toy from. We will be coming here for now on.

I have been to Southwest Eyecare many times, I would strongly suggest coming here for ANY needs for glasses. I grew up buying my glasses from Costco because they were more affordable, but after buying glasses from Southwest Eyecare I realized that QUALITY matters. With the same prescription glasses from Southwest and Costco, I could see a measurable difference in my own vision. Everything seemed so much more rich and vibrant because of the quality of the glasses. The doctors here, Dr. Vance and Dr. Aguirre, are extremely kind individuals.
