I see that most of the reviews are from first time hearing aid users. The reviews were positive. I agree that Dr.McKinney is personable. But there were some unsatisfactory issues that prompted me to go to another audiologist today. I was shocked by the difference in the services I received. Based on my experience, I suggest that new patients ask these questions: what kind of hearing test is used?. The tests I received from Southland Audiology consisted of responding to tones. It took less than 15 minutes. Today I had a hearing test that included tones, hearing the spoken word, repeating words, and a vibration test. The testing took at least an hour. 2. I am a recent patient of Dr Dawn McKinney for my first hearing aids. She is so kind & patient with all of my questions plus my concerns for finding the right domes for my very sensitive ears. She is very accessible & seems genuinely interested in getting me a proper fit with the best hearing possible. I am very happy that Zip Hearing recommended her to me!

The Audiologist met with my father and me on New Year's Eve. The appointment was on time, she was very nice to my dad and listened to his concerns, did the tests and determined what would be good for him. She didn't try to sell him more than what he needed or that his Medicare would cover. We had to reschedule his appointment for the fitting once the hearing aides came in as he lives out of town and my mom was ill, but she was very understanding and accommodated us when he was available. The fitting went fine, he is very happy with his hearing aides, he received additional batteries, two cases and will have a 3-year warranty and free replacement batteries for 3 years. I highly recommend her!

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Dawn B.McKinney, AuD at the Dublin, Ohio location. She was very professional as well as personable. I was able to schedule an appointment within a reasonable timeframe and my order was processed quickly. These have to be the most comfortable hearing aids I have ever worn. I find that I am wearing them all day, whereas the hearing aids I had previously I only wore them when I had to! Very impressed with Nations Hearing/Southland Hearing.

I was referred to Southland by an online hearing aid company. Dr. McKinney performed the exam, recommended a specific hearing aid that fit my need and requirements, and referred me back to the online company for purchasing and financing of the recommended hearing aids. Needless to say, I purchased my hearing aids from an independent supplier that offered no other services. Dr. McKinney, being a professional service provider, programmed, fitted, and instructed on how to use and clean my new hearing aids. (Yes, there was a reasonable fee for doing that.) I would recommend Southland.
