Dr Casey, Jorge and Joyce were excellent. All three were very nice, personable, and professional. We took our dog Chimney to be examined for a possible tooth extraction. Joyce at front desk checked us in and was very pleasant and explained everything before seeing the veterinarian. Jorge, was nice as well going over Chimney's records and explaining and answering questions. Dr. Casey was extremely nice and went over everything and explaining the procedure for Chimney. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a place for animal care. Also, I want to mention that on Friday, March 6,2026 our dog received care from Dr.Casey, Leila and Kim were great that day as well. All were very kind and caring and friendly . Thanks to all of you! We appreciate it very much!

What a fabulous experience! From my phone call to get an appointment, to walking into Southgate, I was greeted with so much joy! Lorrie was wonderful and Leila, who took care of my furbaby, has an award winning personality and a genuine love for animals! I’m new to this area and look forward to making Southgate our new Vet. My sister raved about Dr Casey, who took care of her two doodles for years before they crossed over the rainbow bridge. I only wish they would open an office in Chicago for the summer! lol!

I had a great experience with Southgate Vet. This is my first winter living seasonally in FL with my dog and when she needed a sick visit, I called a couple of different offices. Lorrie was very pleasant and helpful to get me connected and schedule a next day appointment. Jorge was very thorough taking my dog’s medical history and clearly communicated next steps. My dog was seen by Dr. Casey, who has wonderful energy and clearly stated options and the treatment plan. Happy to be connected to a great office!

What a wonderful clinic! Dr. Casey is a sweetheart, Jorge was very helpful in getting all of my babies information and history & Joyce was an absolute star from helping me get in even sooner than originally planned - to being so kind and helpful throughout my appointment. The love these folks have for others’ pets is amazing! Definitely recommend ☺️

I love SAH! The staff has always been compassionate, informative and very helpful. Dr Casey and Dr Ashley have always been wonderful for our furry kiddos. Whether routine checkups, teeth cleaning, any sudden ailments or especially when the time came to have to say goodbye to one of our own, the crew here is so amazing. It’s a big deal to trust someone with your pet and rest assured they will take great care of you.
