SouthernMED Pediatrics - Rock Hill (Amendment)

My 3 boys have been coming here for about 6 years now. We got started here during covid when the kids got on Medicaid as they're one of the few places around that accepts it. After getting standard insurance a little later, we briefly considered changing doctors again as this is a 25 minute drive for us. We decided to stay with this practice and have been very satisfied. We work with Dr Cutler and he always allows us as much time and attention as we need, and I'm pretty sure he does this for everyone as there is sometimes a moderate wait. The staff have always been efficient and easy to work with, and now we don't want to go anywhere else.

UPDATE: Since Southern Med took over, I can barely get ahold of anyone. All of the prompts are a headache before simply leaving a message with someone. I haven't heard a familiar voice on the phone in months. It take days to hear back from a random person who still has no information for you, sometimes weeks. I've been going back and forth for months to get a valid referral sent. I've also noticed that any appt with L.P that she recommends a referral, you need to call and make sure it's actually been done. A bunch of back to back calls and nothing ever really resolved. Dealing with this place has become an impersonal pain in the ass. I'm ready to find another clinic. This office use to be great when it was Tri County Pediatric. Now that SouthernMed has taken over, things have gone south. You cant get a live person on the phone and when they finally decide to return your call, there is no resolution! I have been trying to pay for a bill for months now and the billing department cant seem to find a balance due but we keep receiving a bill. Cant get a hold of anyone on the phone and driving there is out of the way! Considering that its 2026 and everything is done electronically they need to get it together!

Colleen Cunningham, PA-C was wonderful and friendly and took her time. Very happy with my daughter's first appointment here!

My children had been with TriCounty for 12 years before we parted ways. I saw a lot of good doctors come and go. Dr. Modi was the absolute best. When she left she expressed that she refuses to be timed for patients if they need more care. Dr. Sai was also good. NP Erica was exceptional with my children (then she moved positions to Early Autism), just to shout out a few. I left after the waits began to be too long, the parking lot smelled like weed, the admin employees were nasty and rude (unprofessional)… there is one nurse who moves like a sloth and she seems to be mentally empty. She had no compassion or awareness for children when swabbing for strep or giving shots. No comforting or emotions at all- just blank. It was to the point I would not allow her to touch my kids- I requested anot
