Southern Specialty Rehabilitation and Nursing

They don't clean the rooms correctly. They don't give meds on time. It is pitiful. They take forever . Food gross. Then u don't get the rehab u need.

All staff were friendly and helpful. The nursing staff especially are very friendly and you can tell that they genuinely care about their residents. The administration team was also very helpful and very knowledgeable. When speaking with the administrator there she showed compassion and answered all the questions and concerns presented. Overall there was a welcoming feeling from staff. Would definitely recommend.

Southern Specialty is a gem in Lubbock. The administrator, Dana, cares so much for her residents and her staff! The residents feel like it is their home and they are among family. The building is clean and well cared for. The staff is super friendly. The nursing and therapy team are seriously the best in town! I would definitely recommend a rehab stay for my loved one or someone needing permanent placement.

Southern is a five star facility with a very supportive administration staff. The facility staff provides great care for all their residents. The building itself is maintained daily. Residents enjoy a delicious well balanced diet provided by the lovely ladies in dietary. If your looking for long term care do yourself a favor and check out southern!!

I would like everyone to know about Southern Specialty in Lubbock TX. My husband is currently a patient there on a ventilator. The care he is receiving is outstanding. I am amazed at how quickly he is reaching his goals. Everyone involved in his care is warm, attentive and very friendly. They really deserve great credit as they strive to give it their all. The Administrators make it a very positive experience. There are too many members of staff to name but they are truly assets to this place. Thank you and may God bless all you heroes!!
