This practice does not accept patients with a BMI over 50 and will cancel your consultation with very little notice if your BMI is over the threshold. That would have been helpful information to know ahead of time as it has caused at least a month’s delay in my wife’s ability to seek care for a pressing medical issue. I was personally seen by Dr. Kate Barclay and have nothing but kind things to say about her (she is so warm, empathetic, and understanding). She was excellent and made me feel so comfortable and valued. That being said, I am frustrated that my wife was turned away entirely at the last minute and forced to seek care elsewhere due to her BMI. I went to take my dad for a procedure and the woman working intake at 8:06 AM this morning had a terrible attitude from the start. I don’t know why you’d expect a patient to feel comfortable going under anesthesia when not a single interaction is warm or welcoming. It’s 8 AM—why are you already in a bad mood? Because of her, we left. We arrived early and instead of a greeting, we were met with a blunt “Come on” to enter the waiting room. She then switched on the news, which was showing a triggering topic. My dad asked if she could change it, and she said “I can’t”—but another associate immediately switched the channel without issue. Later, she called a patient’s name. This is in regards to the employees, ESPECIALLY Stephanie who is the most unempathetic rude unprofessional medical staff member that I have ever spoken with. she easily denies a patient's talks & wants to be held over talks , hangs up the phone on a patient & IF acting professional, transfers your call to doctors & other extensions with no response &/or a voicemail to leave a message with no return. Because of her attitude, I am switching to a different physician & facility.

Watch your credit card if you use it for a co-pay and if you have a bill with them. They will tell you that there running the card for your co-pay and then run it for the full bill... WATCH OUT!!!!

Well…it’s a Saturday, when their office isn’t normally in full operation. These appt. are set aside for new patients. THERE’S A LOT OF NEW PATIENTS !!! Had to wait while, but I was informed before showing up ! They have a great system for reminding you of appt. & other info through the Healow App. I’m here for colonoscopy consultation ! Office staff send friendly, but just REAL busy !?! 🤔😳🤩😁
