I first met Dr. Bobby Eghbalieh after being recommended by my Gastroenterologist who I had been seeing for over 25 years. After learning I needed to have fundoplication surgery to cure my acid reflux, the overwhelming recommendation was to see Dr. Eghbalieh. Dr. Eghbalieh’s office coordinated all required pre-operative testing and made the overall process much easier. My surgery was a complete success and Dr. Eghbalieh’s office followed up numerous times to ensure I was doing well. Dr. Babak ("Bobby") Eghbalieh was an AMAZING doctor/surgeon - both in the skillful removal of my infected gallbladder (along with a 3 centimeter gallstone inside it) - as well as his genuinely kind, caring, sincere and reassuring "bedside manner"! I hadn't had any kind of surgery whatsoever since my early 20s (and I'm currently in my 60s now), so I was honestly quite frightened and concerned (prior to the "emergency surgery"). My surgery was successful, "Dr. Bobby" (Eghbalieh) was absolutely wonderful, and I just went in (this afternoon) for my second follow-up appointment since my February 1st surgery. This is a review is towards the Tarzana branch: First off, you don’t speak to a real doctor - you speak with a nurses practitioner. That’s one. Second. I wouldn’t have an issue speaking with a practitioner if they knew a bit more than the bare minimum. The one I saw today was just that, BARE MINIMUM. It was a complete waste of my time. Also the female receptionist had zero people skills. All attitude. That’s what you get when you hire a clueless child! Get it together with a real doctor!
