Dr. Daniels was great. However, whoever gave me the breathing test seemed like she was angry at my existence. So cold and unfriendly. I won't be back for this reason.

My father was a patient here for years and there was consistent difficulty dealing with the front office staff. Since we weren't able to get onto the portal to send a message, we stopped at the office to relay the message that my father passed away. The front end staff was dismissive and cold when trying to relay this message to Dr. Daniels. When I attempted to explain the issues with the portal, they raised their voice at me and told me to leave the office when I asked them to stop. I feel bad for others who are I'll, some terminally and have to deal with his kind of treatment. I hope changes are made to ensure no one else gets treated in this manner. If you can go off-island for care, I recommend you do so.

I agree with the reviews posted about the rude staff. Sadly, I don't want to return because of that. The x-ray tech messed up the first try and had to get a second after I specifically asked for just one. Radiation should be taken seriously. Although Dr Daniel was pleasant, he ignored my request and refused to forward my x-ray results to my primary care doctor.

I was referred to this office by my health care provider; I called to make an appointment and they never returned my call. It's been two weeks now, when I called again, I was told (via robot) not to leave more than one message, as that disrupted their system. They get zero stars.

Beware of Fraudulent Billing Practices! I had an absolutely terrible experience with South East Lung Associates on Hilton Head Island. Prior to my visit on February 12th, I confirmed with my insurance provider that my only financial obligation would be my $40 co-pay. However, upon checking in, I was rudely told by the receptionist that I had to pay $515 ($40 co-pay + $475 deductible) before I could be seen. I explained multiple times that my responsibility should only be $40, but needing care, I was forced to pay the full $515 just to receive medical attention. After my visit, I immediately rechecked with my insurance provider, and they confirmed once again that I should have only paid $40—they didn’t even see the extra $475 charge on their end! They advised me to contact South East Lung
