This place is so slow and they do not go by who arrived first. My wife went in for bad neck pain. She couldn’t walk or even turn her head. 4 hours go by people are coming in after her and leaving before her. I question what’s going on and I am told it goes by first priority, and she still had 3 people in front of her. I tell the lady at the front desk that we are leaving to be seen elsewhere. I go to the ER and get told I can’t check my wife in because the urgent care didn’t release her. Once that was solved they took her right in because they consider neck pain serious. My wife ended up needing surgery. I decided to give this place another shot when my daughter hurt her foot. 31/2 hours go by she’s still not seen, same situation people coming after us and going in before us. I will not b
I have never been to Urgent care but will say my first experience was very pleasant!!! My mom is visiting from Canada for the holidays and became ill. I started feeling concerned that she has pneumonia, so I decided to take her to urgent care to get checked. The wait time is irrelevant as I feel that would depend on how many people are waiting to be seen. We went in Christmas Eve and the place was slammed. The receptionist was so pleasant and kind. My mom had to pay $250 to be seen. Which we expected. As she didn't have insurance. I don't usually write many reviews BUT HAD to once we met John, the nurse practitionar who treated my mom! HE WAS BEYOND amazing. His bed side manners was great. And like no other. Their was a language barrier as my mom doesn't speak well English but he trie
I loathe having to come to this practice when I have any kind of issue. It’s always more than an hour, WITH an online appointment. I got here at 3:45PM and it’s now 5:15PM and the doctor still hasn’t come into the room. Pathetic and ridiculous, Southcoast. DO BETTER.
This is the first urgent care that I have been to that DOES NOT PRIORITIZE children or elderly . With RSV going around and the symptoms that my daughter has we were sitting in the waiting room for almost 2 hours before I called her doctors office and got her to be seen that day. That was something I was trying to avoid due to her doctor’s office being in a different city. The word URGENT Is used lightly.
Sloppy. Churn and burn attitude. Don’t expect much help once you leave the building to get your prescriptions. I’ve been waiting over an hour plus to get them to just send a prescription! A PRESCRIPTION! Calling them back they just leave you on hold the entire time. (I am still on hold as I write this review!). Very bush league operation.
