No stars - went to them last August '24, pointed out a black spot. They said all good. Went back in December '24. Pointed out the black spot. They said no good. They took pics and biopsy. 2 fumbled phone calls in January by their office. Finally Dr Flynn called me for the first and last time, it was melanoma. I found the surgeon (Moffit) made all the arrangements and had the surgery. Not one follow up phone call from South Tampa Dermatology. I am fortunate it didn't spread to my lymph nodes. Also they are unable to locate the pics they took in December. Shame, shame on them. Totally and completely negligent. Took me sometime to reconcile what happened and was now at a place I could leave this very upsetting and frightening review.

Dana Hess is about the best they come. Sharp, kind, very knowledgeable. Great results from the work she does, and I like the approach she takes to evaluating what options would be best for the patient. My mother is older, and a patient of Dana's. I wish other doctors treated my mother as Dana treats her. Dana shows respect and interest in my mother, never patronizing to her or acting too "cutesy" with her. Dana is as classy as she is capable! I have been seeing Megan Thomas and have had wonderful experiences. I initially went for an annual skin cancer check. She is very thorough compared to my former dermatologist. I was also having an issue with hormonal cystic acne. Megan knew exactly what to prescribe and my acne cleared up in a matter of a few days! I also visited her for Botox. She is very skilled... perfect placement of injection sites and for whatever reason, it seems to take less units there, than med spas I've been too (won't mention any names though). The staff is friendly and appointment times are convenient. Very happy to have found Megan and South Tampa Dermatology!
