South Shore Health Urgent Care Plymouth

We are so pleased to have South Shore Health Urgent Care in Plymouth. Since all of our medical doctors are in the South Shore Health system, they receive our urgent care visit same day. I made my appointment online. It was easy to use with several appointments times offered. I chose to wait an hour or so before going. When I arrived at my appointment time 15 minutes early (as suggested so everything can be verified from online appointment), I only waited 5 to 10 minutes when my name was called. The staff and doctors at the urgent care are friendly and very patient focused starting from when you first walk in until you leave. Definitely recommend!

I received excellent care during my visit. Assessment and clinical care was very good. The nurse, X-ray Tech and Joyce Twomey, CNP were all very professional, kind and caring. I highly recommend South Shore Health UrgentCare in Plymouth.

I didnt have a bad experience but I feel like it was very rushed. Checking in, she was really nice and took her time. The gentleman that came in to take my vitals was pushy. He was talking over me when he asked me a question. He asked what medications did I have allergic reactions from, I gave him a paper with all of them written down and he looked at them and handed them back to me. Same with the medication I take on a daily basis. He never wrote anything down. Waited for the doctor, she asked me what i thought was going on with me. She listened to my chest, looked in my ears and nose and agreed with me and sent me in a prescription. I know it is just a urgent care but the nurse could have taken a little more time and written things down to make me feel more comfortable.

Good: No wait… I was in and out in 20 minutes Nurse who took my vitals was very efficient and pleasant Not so good: person at checkout could have been friendlier. Please, thank you would’ve been appreciated. Grumpy. Doctor seemed to be resentful that she was working on a Sunday. Be nice- people who come to the clinic are hurting.

I had injured my right knee and had been self treating it but couldn't put any weight on it. It was really hurting yesterday (Sunday) and my own PCP's office was closed so I went to Health Express in Plymouth. From my initial interaction with the receptionist to the medical assistant, x-ray technician and the physician, I was treated very kindly and professionally. The entire visit was only about an hour. I would recommend their facility highly to anyone who does not need emergency room care.
