Its now part of catholic health so you can't call to find out if anyone had canceled on the day so you can get in right away and the wait to talk to someone (which is obviously not in the USA ) the wait has been 16 and 22 mins each time I called. What a bummer as I used to love this place.

Went to an appointment today (Wednesday) that was scheduled this last Monday. I walk in, they tell me that my appointment was somehow(?)set for a week ago, last Wednesday? How does this make any sense? Does south shore family medical have time travel technology, or are they just completely apathetic ? Who knows, all I know is there is a fat chance in hell of me coming back to this place. One star is too much.

My personal experience after going to the longbeach location for over 10 years. This was a great office with friendly staff and doctors. About a year ago, it's gone completely downhill. Now, once you get used to a doctor, they leave. Jen and Brittany were the best. Now the new phone system keeps you on hold for at least 10-15 min and that's even when you are the 1st person in the que. I've been trying to make an appointment now for over 7 days and can't even get through to them. At least 6 or 7 times now. When I go across the street to pickup my medication, its either not filled, not called in yet, or they call in the incorrect meds. Now im stuck waiting for what feels like 30 min to an hour or so. I only keep going here because it's so close to my house. I think it's time I look elsewhere

They either the phone stays ringing or the line is busy. It's been like this for a long time. I stay because it's up the street and I can just go there to make an appointment. But if I cannot do that, it's near impossible to get someone on the phone. The 2 stars is because when I do get treated there, the treatment is good.

Did not honor appointment made through Zocdoc. I wanted to assume the best, so I took their next available appointment, which they sent calls and emails to confirm multiple times. When I showed up for 11:30 appointment they had doors locked and a sign that said “closed today.” You couldn’t call to notify patients with confirmed appointments?
