Dr. Metzger is a good Dr. He is also a good photographer, My wife and I have seen him several times. BUT HIS OFFICE IS TERRIBLE....Left 3-4 messages over a three week period (on his personal assistant??) line..no callback. Have been trying to change an appt. but no one picks up the phone...etc, etc. Time to move on, don't need a photographer, need a Dr. that makes sure his office is run properly. From reading other reviews My wife and I are not alone.

As a Healthcare coordinator/supervisor/previous front desk of 9 years i sat for almost an hour as I watched the front desk checking in patients, being rude, sarcastic, talking about a patient as they walked away, standing on their phone at the desk and then making an elderly person in a walker have a seat far from the desk because a cell phone text was more important. It was appalling and distasteful. I have personally run check in and check out solo on an eclinical platform.....im my opinion if you can not handle an afternoon rush of people walk in, greet them with a smile or hello, or pleasantly say we will be right with you. Pre check your insurance covers the tests ordered. I made the mistake of not checking myself before hand and that mistake was very costly. If the office bothered to check they never told me it wasn't covered. So to avoid the mistake I made and check yourself to save yourself a very large bill. The Doctor himself is great can't complain about him.

Sitting here observing for nearly an hour now, and it's ASTOUNDING how chaotic the front desk is, and how RUDE some staff are. "I'm all alone up here, what do you want me to do?" is NOT the proper response to a nice old lady that has a SIMPLE QUESTION to ask. This is the face of the practice when someone comes in the door, and I'D ABSOLUTELY RUN if this is what I encountered!

The visit went well. The staff is pleasant. I give it 4 stars because the waiting was long.
