I would like to recognize Zak; the maintenance man for consistently going above and beyond whenever I visit my mom at the facility, especially on weekends. Any time I have an issue in her room, he is always quick to help with a big smile, patience, and a positive attitude that never makes it feel like an inconvenience. This past weekend, I needed assistance with the smart TV, and he fixed it right away—no questions asked and with genuine kindness. His willingness to help, professionalism, and compassionate approach make a meaningful difference for families and residents alike. A goal moving forward would be for him to continue this level of exceptional service and to be recognized as a role model for customer service and family support within the facility

Let me first start off by saying this isn't the nicest looking facility but they make up with their care. To say that opinion completely changed about this facility is an understatement. The first week was extremely hard for my mom (Shirley) and to say that I was not happy with this place is an understatement. However, after week two, I got to know the staff a little more in the north section. The team here works very hard and yes, they may not get to the room right away but they make sure and take care of each patient with care. They have activities throughout the day and provide snacks twice a day along with 3 meals. The rehabilitation team is just as great. When it came time for my mom to go home, she was upset to leave the staff that became her friends. I cannot say thank you enough

I came in with 2 non-working legs thanks to a car accident, barely able to move from the bed to a wheelchair. By the end of 2 weeks I was on crutches and getting discharged to go home. The staff was extremely kind and understanding. Always encouraging even the smallest of accomplishments because that's how you get well. Small goals built on top of small victories that eventually lead to recovery. While not the most modern of facilities the difference here is the staff. They have everything needed to get you healthy, and they are genuinely helpful with any and all request during recovery. I cannot praise them enough.

Since So Orange took over this facility from the Palms, it has been awful. Not the care itself, but the communication. There has been so much staff turnover, it will make your head spin. The finance office is the worst offender. When you need questions answered, the buck gets passed and no one knows anything about anything. I would take my mother out of here but I am terrified she would decline more quickly with change. Some staff do need a lesson in smiling and not looking so miserable all the time. I realize it is a thankless job (we have all had them) but some kind of training is needed for some of these caregivers. I do NOT recommend putting your loved one here.

This place is awful. If you care about your love ones, do not place them here. My mother in law was not taken care of. They don’t clean them up properly. She got a UTI, dehydrated, fell and busted her head, developed a pressure sore and was sitting in the dining room at lunch time with poop on her hands. Unacceptable. There is nothing about this place that describes skilled nursing facility.
