DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! I was in this facility for only 60 minutes, and that was 60 minutes too long. The entrance is run-down and unwelcoming, leading to a dirty elevator with broken buttons. Upon reaching the second floor, the smell of urine and feces was so overpowering it took my breath away. We found my Aunt, who suffers from Alzheimer’s in a horrific state. She was unkempt, without shoes or socks, and extremely agitated. Her "bed" was a basic twin with barely any sheets and no safety rails; it wasn't even a proper hospital bed for someone requiring her level of care. The room itself was shameful: peeling paint, stained furniture, and curtains falling off the rods. A staff member named "Jake" entered in street clothes, looking completely unprofessional and acting very

Unfortunately there isn’t a zero star option. My loved one was sent here for skilled rehab from the hospital. She has severe dementia and needs special care and attention and was not even properly settled in. I came to make sure she was okay and settled in and she was propped on a bed with no bed rails and was free to do whatever she could or wanted because no one was watching her. I have no nursing background but even I know you can’t leave severe dementia patients alone like that. She was so upset and agitated and uncomfortable and the nursing assistant told us he gave her a cookie. I am baffled that instead of proper care they just shove cookies at patients to shut them up. The place was disgusting, dirty, stained, unsafe, outdated. I don’t know how they are operating like that. I would

DO NOT send your loved ones to this facility. In addition to being understaffed, the staff they managed to keep is negligent. My aunt was a resident here for 4 weeks, and received horrible treatment from this facility. She was supposed to be showered twice a week, yet every week when we asked if she had her scheduled shower, they would have no explanation for why this did not happen. She was supposed to wear a back brace due to a broken vertebrae, and staff would NEVER put it on. Her call bell would be ignored for >30 minutes at a time, and she had several falls because she couldn't wait that long to go to the bathroom (who could?) We had to call the administrator daily (and sometimes more than once a day) to receive even the basic level of care. We were placated and left with empty promi

If you prefer your loved one to go even quicker than expected send them here! Absolutely neglected my grandmother so much day after day. Not being showered, sitting her up in a wheelchair for HOURS staring at a wall with no tv remote claiming another patient was going in her room taking her remote and this happened numerous times. The red push buttons don’t work I tried numerous times to click the red button asking for assistance to get her help to use the bathroom time and time again they did not help. I highly recommend you take your loved one home and allow them to spend the rest of their of beautiful days in the comfort of their own home. Once again DO NOT AT ALL COST SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE ITS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND TERRIBLE. (Not saying they caused her to go quicker but the amou

UPDATE: My grandfather is now dead because of them. My 101-year old grandfather was sent to South Hills Post Acute to rebuild his strength and shake off the confusion after surgery so he could come back home. Up until this time, Gramps was walking around with his walker just fine and very much had his wits about him. We were so blessed to have such a lively, lovely Grandpa. Now, he’s on a ventilator. The staff - that we were told would provide around the clock care - would leave him in a chair in the hallway all day, under bright lights with alarms going off constantly, and with nearly zero engagement. Confused about why someone had to feed him, the aides would give up after a matter of minutes, so he went hungry most of the time. We only knew he ate what we personally fed him for lunch.
