I called South Hills Dental Arts the morning after breaking a molar, and they fit me in right away that morning - a few hours later, I left with a fully repaired tooth / crown. I was very impressed with the overall process, specifically that the team was able to mold and make the crown, prep the molar, and then complete the entire process in one visit. Everyone on the team was really pleasant and professional - and they quickly put my mind at ease with what could have been a very stressful procedure.

I was in the area on business for an extended period and I lost my crown (for the third time in less than a year). My employer is a patient at the Upper St. Clair office and highly recommended them. I was going to wait until I returned home and so glad I didn't wait! From the first phone call with Joan, my consultation/appointment with Dr. Z and every one I came in contact with was nothing but exceptional professionalism, service and friendliness. Dr. Z provided me with options and discussed each one with me. They were able to make a new crown and implant it in the same day! I would highly recommend their services! I scheduled an appointment after confirming with both my insurance (MetLife) and the office that they were in-network. I was charged in full and told my secondary insurance would reimburse me in a few weeks. Months later, I learned the doctor who did the crown was actually out-of-network with my primary, which made the bill much higher. Communication and follow-up were poor, and I still have over $200 balance and no clear refund timeline. I made multiple follow-ups and still haven’t received clear explanations or a refund timeline. This was a frustrating experience that could have been avoided with accurate provider-level network disclosure. They provide poor communication.
