South Buffalo Springs Animal Hospital

We’ve been coming to this hospital since my english bulldog, buddi was 3 years old. He barely made it to 6. First,This hospital is super strict on their payment policy and very money hungry. Secondly, They wrongfully prescribed my dog medicine, that honestly made him worse and the day my dog passed away all they did was try to give him more meds. Not to mention, they would take 2 weeks to call, but then just to tell us they did not know what was wrong with Buddi.We decided to take him to another hospital (pebble maryland) where they right away told us that he couldn’t even make it one more night. Once we got there, they refused to send over his notes to our new hospital and it put Buddi at higher risk for time he did not have. Pebble Maryland did great for only meeting Buddi 30 minutes ag

We have been taking our dogs to South Buffalo Springs since the early days with Dr Bivens. He went out of his way to take care of our dogs and on multiple occasions went above and beyond what any vet would do. After his tragic passing, we continue to trust the staff and Dr's at South Buffalo. Fortunately, until recently, we have not had a pet experience anything too far outside of the routine vaccine and general well check visits. That all changed recently when our senior dog Nutmeg started experiencing some digestive issues. Without going into too much detail. I will say Dr Caudle went above and beyond and performed a "miracle" surgery on Nutmeg. We were preparing to say goodbye to her a week ago. She is now home recovering, and aside from having the e-collar which she absolutely despises

Bella loves this location and from the moment we walked in the staff was very friendly and even though it was busy the entire staff worked quickly to get everyone in and out in a timely manner. I even had additional questions and the doctor came out all the way to the car to answer all my questions and concerns. They genuinely showed that they care about my Rotti definitely will recommend to all my friends and family

This vet hospital provided compassionate and knowledgeable care for our English bulldog, who passed away today. Dr. Claude clearly understands the unique needs of bulldogs and explained our options honestly and thoroughly. Their pricing was very reasonable, especially compared to another vet who quoted nearly $10,000 for the same procedure that Dr. Claude offered for much less. We appreciate the professionalism, transparency, and genuine care shown during a very difficult time.

Dr. Shawn and the whole staff were incredible! So warm, caring, and comprehensive. I can’t convey my gratitude enough at how quickly my fur baby was fit in/seen and the phenomenal care he received. Also, I went in expecting to pay thousands of dollars and this emergency walk-in was so much more affordable than a routine vet visit! Such a pleasant and unexpected surprise!!
