AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST — especially Dr. Eligio Arsenio. I had a deeply troubling experience at South Bay Dental Center. In April, Dr. Eligio Arsenio performed a dental filling without informing me of any risks or offering post-treatment guidance. I received no follow-up care, no consent documents, and no warnings about potential complications. By May, I began experiencing pain, which I initially thought was due to wisdom teeth. I had all four removed — but the pain persisted. Eventually, an oral surgeon diagnosed swelling and bone inflammation caused by the improper filling. He strongly advised me to have the filling corrected and confirmed it likely caused the issue. I later had to undergo osseous surgery and now require a root canal — all of which could have been avoided with prop

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! My niece went here for orthodontist treatment. We were constantly neglected, and ended up having to find a new orthodontist who made an initial report about the awful conditions and procedures of the Dr. Virays work and we had to seek legal counsel and are in the process of suing South Bay Dental Center! My niece needed to go to therapy and medical centers due to her pain and stress this place had caused her! They also never refunded us for treatment that I paid in full after I asked for a partial refund for the remaining treatment since we were not going there anymore. However, the office manager refused and said it was against their policy so we had to seek legal counsel for damages and negligence.

This is the worst dental place I've ever been to, unprofessional and does not respect patients' rights at all. All they care about is how to squeeze more money from their patients.I don’t believe a clinic like this can stay in business for very long.

I LOVE the Office Staff at this Berryessa location! The girl there who always has a massive smile on her face is amazing! She is the main reason I go here! She always is incredibly friendly and always goes out of her way to help me with payment arrangements, helping with my insurance, and she always remembers me by name! She seems like she is the main front desk(I'm not sure what her title is) associate as everyone always asks her for help but I'm so bad with names. :( One of the other reviews has a picture of her wearing a hat with one of the patients. If you get lucky enough to have her help you, she will delight you with great conversations and fantastic customer service. They are open on the weekends(O.O so incredibly rare among dentists) and are always amazing at helping me schedule

Come in with good insurance, they will max you out, with little (or no) explanation. (Don't do it). Comparable to Western Dental. Would say they are more used to Dent-ical or government funded programs. Very Unprofessional correspondence with front office staff from their personal phones. Be careful with this, as the dentist's they work for aren't seeing those texts, probably. Furthermore, the staff person Gretel, took on in a personal text that since mine was a "simple extraction", (2 teeth) she could not understand a request for Motrin. I'm not sure the dentist ever saw the correspondence with her personal texts. I had planned on having my teeth replaced by them, she blew it for them, the receptionist. $$
