Dr. Rubinstein gave carefully gave full attention to my eye exam and patiently answered all my questions (I ask a lot of questions!). Additionally his wife was patient and helpful in helping me choose my frame (I take a lot of time in deciding) and other staff member was welcoming and friendly too. I would highly recommend their service.

Dr. Rubenstein, Karen, and Daisy are the best! I had cataract surgery, and I opted for the VisionLOCK Light Adjustable Lenses (LAL). These implanted lenses require an elaborate process of "dialing in" the prescription for each lens, after which the prescription gets permanently "locked in." Dr. Rubenstein was both very patient and very thorough throughout the process (which takes multiple visits). He also explained the process very well to me and my wife, so I thoroughly understood everything. We tried various contact lenses first to see which prescription would work best for me before the final dialing-in and lock-in procedure. If you are looking for an eye doctor, look no further. Dr. Rubinstein is a subject matter expert in eyes and he knows how to communicate everything to a patient. My visit there is always pleasant. The whole staff is both friendly and helpful. I had some questions and concerns after visiting an urgent care and he was able to double check everything and better explain what was going on with my eye. I left feeling better and more knowledgeable with a care plan that made sense. I recommend checking Sound Shore Vision Center out!

The dr was so great with my 7 year old who didn’t like anyone touching near his eye he was very creative in ways to get the tests done anyway. You can tell he’s extremely experienced with dealing with children. I would highly recommend sound shore vision for anyone who need their children to have an eye exam

I visited this establishment during COVID and a year after. I wasn't dress in a suit and tie and I experienced most everything that the people that left One★ experienced. I felt like I was being talked to by "woke" people who couldn't wait to see me leave. Anything I asked them if they could do, the answer was nah, no, maybe, etc. I had some expensive Giorgio Armani frames with Zeiss Transmission Trifocals lenses and wanted to update the lenses to a new prescription by another Optician and purchase a new pair too. I wasn't allowed to look a the selection that had and I felt like everyone was building a brick wall in front of me; every step I took - so I left and made somebody else rich. Spent my $2000 cash with a store on Mamaroneck Ave. They probably didn't think I had that kind of money.
