I have been coming here for the past four years. He doesn't try to upsell treatments and always explains the details of any procedure if there's an issue. I had a problem that required a root canal and a cap, which he completed at a reasonable cost.

I've been coming to Dr. Shah for a couple years now, and I hope I never have to go to another dentist again. It's one of those cases where I grew up hating the dentist, to the point where I would have large gaps between visits just due to the anxiety. My teeth have had a lot of cavities in the past, I get nervous easily, and my eyes are photosensitive to the dentist lights. Generally this led to terrible experiences with previous dentists. Hands down the best dentist I ever went to. The office was clean and organized. The staff particularly Ann, who took my information was one of the friendliest people I ever met in San Diego. Dr. Shah himself was exceptional in his consultation and cleaning. He was patient with me, explaining in details about my condition and the preventive and treatment process for it. They also provide very affordable pricing. I highly recommend Sorrento Smiles to anyone who needs a dentist!

Dr. Shah and his team are welcoming, knowledgable, love what they do, and show it by helping people. Within minutes of speaking to Dr. Shah I was comfortable with him performing my dental work. I've had braces twice, thousands of Oral X-Rays, and he made me feel right at home in the chair. Highly recommend his services to anyone who need dental work from an honest Doctor. I'll be back every 6 months hopefully without any more cavities. He also fixed a chipped tooth for me and you can't even tell there was an accident before. Great practice!

I looked up many well reviewed Dentist's in the SD area, but all of the few reviews I read for Dr. Shah was what made me want to go to him. And I am glad I went with it. He's an up and coming dentist in the area for sure. His professional demeanor, manners and credentials speak for themselves (USC graduate). He was very fair, honest and to the point about his recommendations, his treatment plan and cost. He did the cleaning himself because he cares about the quality of his work that much. I will definitely be going back to him again for my cleanings and other dental needs!
