Somerset Pediatric Group

I've been visiting this clinic with my son for years, and until now, I've had positive experiences. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with Dr. Catarine Scarfone was subpar. Her lack of concern for my son's high fever and positive flu test results was alarming. As a parent, it's distressing to see a healthcare professional prioritize procedure over patient care. I went back there today because the symptoms persist. Another lady doctor said they wouldn't give him medicine because he hasn't had a flu vaccine. It seems they won't provide any medication if we don't vaccinate.

My kids have been with this pediatric practice since birth which is almost 10 years now… we had a pleasant experience so far. Taking appointments is easy. Doctors and nurses are pretty good and cooperative. They send reminders before appointments. The nurses are very responsive when it comes to returning voicemail if you have a question or concern. The facilities are clean and well maintained. They have multiple offices and I have been to Hillsborough, Raritan and Somerset. Our primary is Hillsborough.

The 13 years we have been going there, they always are accommodating with getting us in when needed right away from the time he was a baby to his teens. This week I went to the front desk in a rush to request a form be filled out and I did not have the correct med clearance form. I don't know her name but greatly appreciated the consideration and time the front desk put in finding me the correct form eliminating more of my own time and stress. She clearly could read the room and responded with patience and kindness. As someone who works in Healthcare, I greatly appreciated it. Thank you!

The doctors at Somerset Pediatric Group are incredibly patient and thorough — they really listen and make both kids and parents feel comfortable. Always professional, caring, and easy to reach when needed.

Had a bad experience when I was overcharged for a routine visit for my daughter. Unnecessary tests led to a big bill for no reason. Would not recommend.
