Best vet for exotics ever. The Dr took amazing care of out hamster, that at just 1 year old developed a fast growing tumor. She saw that we were teaching elementary school kids about responsible pet ownership. She valued that and removed the tumor. (The hamster lived til 2.5 which is respectable, lol) We have been back to her for other exotics and she so is wonderful. She gives all the options and respects the owners opinions. I am so grateful for this office and vet. This office is the best !

We have been with Dr.Henson & her team for years now. Whether it’s a just a check up or something more serious, Dr.Henson will give an extensive explanation of what is going on. The knowledge and understanding you receive is worth every penny. I’ve been to vets that don’t explain anything or take the time to answer your questions. The staff is also amazing. Even in the loss of a pet, their compassion shines. A few years ago we lost our cockatiel and we recently lost our guinea pig. We received such lovely sympathy cards for both. I highly recommend ❤️

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Hensen and staff! Everyone is incredibly friendly, professional, and compassionate. I am a first time dog mom and my baby has unfortunately had a few issues in his first year and a half. They truly take the time to listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions thoroughly, and ensure both I and my dog feel comfortable. He is generally a nervous and anxious dog and they talk him through every appointment. They even were able to clip his nails when he doesn’t let anyone do it!! It’s clear they genuinely love what they do. If you’re looking for a vet who treats your pet like family, this is the place to go!”

I almost took away one star for the waiting that inevitably occurs. But realized it's a doctors office. Humans, animals, you never know who is going to need more time on a given day. My appointments with our adopted labraheeler are never rushed, and always thorough. Just try to get a sitter if you have little ones as my daughter got into EVERYTHING 😞

Dr. Henson and her staff are awesome and provide the best quality care for my dog. Every experience has been top notch!
