Somatic Physical Therapy and Wellness

It’s been almost a week since seeing Dr. Long and I am here to tell you that NOTHING has helped me with my chronic lower back pain I’ve had for 30 years, except the therapy I received from him. I had significant relief the first visit and will be going back to hit a few more spots with dry needling. I was so skeptical but referred by a friend that said he’s really good. I’m so happy to have finally done this because what a difference in my mobility! I can finally move freely again without excruciating pain! Thank you Dr. Long!!

Dr. Nick Long is a magician. I had been having debilitating thumb pain for months. He took a lot of time diagnosing exactly what was happening, eventually leading him to my friggin ROTATOR CUFF, where he did some quick work, completely eliminating the pain in my thumb. Showed me some exercises I can do on my own for maintenance, and that was that. Truly could not have had a better experience. If you've ever been turned off by the typical PT experience (you + 5 other people for one PT at a time and therapy out of a textbook that you could probably just google), I can not recommend Somatic Physical Therapy enough. Just an awesome awesome experience, and so much more in depth and wholistic than what I've come to expect from typical PT's.

I've been in to see Dr Nick probably 4 or 5 times now. Every time I've been there it's been a 5 star experience. Not only does he check to make sure you're comfortable with everything (from the temperature in the studio to PT activities) he explains what he's doing and why. Not to mention the relief I've gotten after the sessions. I recommend everyone I know to see him.

Dr. Nick is the best! He is very knowledgeable about the body and how it functions. His experience and interpersonal skills are top tier. He genuinely listens to your concerns and addresses them. Anytime, I am not feeling 100% I schedule triggerpoint therapy and dry needling and, he always gets me back in the saddle.
